অসমীয়া ভাষাত ৱিকিচৰ্ছ প্ৰকল্পক "ৱিকিউৎস" নাম দিয়া হৈছে। ২০১৩ চনৰ ৪ জানুৱাৰীত অসমীয়া ৱিকিউৎসই নিজা উপ-ড'মেইন লাভ কৰে।

অসমীয়া ৱিকিউৎসত আপুনি এনে যিকোনো প্ৰকাশিত কামকাজ যোগ কৰিব পাৰে, যিবোৰৰ স্ৰষ্টাজনৰ মৃত্যু ৬০ বছৰ পাৰ হৈছে বা তেওঁৰ লেখাবোৰ পাব্লিক ড’মেইনৰ আওতালৈ আহিছে। ইয়াত এনে যি কোনো গান, কবিতা, গল্প, উপন্যাস, প্ৰবন্ধ, ভ্ৰমণ কাহিনী, চিঠি পত্ৰ, দলিল, পুৰাণ, ভাওনা, ধৰ্মীয় গ্ৰন্থ, গুৰুত্বপূৰ্ণ ভাষণ আদি যোগ কৰিব পাৰে। মূল লেখা অসমীয়া ভাষাত ন’হলেও আপুনি ইয়াৰ অসমীয়া অনুবাদ ইয়াত যোগ কৰিব পাৰে।

Hello,

As COVID-19 has forced the Wikimedia communities to stay at home and like many other affiliates, CIS-A2K has decided to suspend all offline activities till 15th September 2020 (or till further notice). I present to you for an online training session for future coming months. The CIS-A2K have conducted a Online Indic Wikisource Proofreadthon to enrich our Indian classic literature in digital format.

WHAT DO YOU NEED

  • Booklist: a collection of books to be proofread. Kindly help us to find some classical literature your language. The book should not be available in any third party website with Unicode formatted text. Please collect the books and add our event page book list.
  • Participants: Kindly sign your name at Participants section if you wish to participate this event.
  • Reviewer: Kindly promote yourself as administrator/reviewer of this proofreadthon and add your proposal here. The administrator/reviewers could participate in this Proofreadthon.
  • Some social media coverage: I would request to all Indic Wikisource community member, please spread the news to all social media channel, we always try to convince it your Wikipedia/Wikisource to use their SiteNotice. Of course, you must also use your own Wikisource site notice.
  • Some awards: There may be some award/prize given by CIS-A2K.

It has been 15 days since Indic Wikisource Proofreadthon 2020 online proofreading contest has started and all 12 communities have been performing extremely well.
However, the 15 days contest comes to end on today, 15 November 2020 at 11.59 PM IST. We thank you for your contribution tirelessly for the last 15 days and we wish you continue the same in future events!

Apart from this contest end date, we will declare the final result on 20th November 2020. We are requesting you, please re-check your contribution once again. This extra-time will be for re-checking the whole contest for admin/reviewer. The contest admin/reviewer has a right revert any proofread/validation as per your language community standard. We accept and respect different language community and their different community proofreading standards. Each Indic Wikisource language community user (including admins or sysops) have the responsibility to maintain their quality of proofreading what they have set.

WikiConference India 2026 is the fourth edition of the national-level conference that brings together Wikimedians and stakeholders engaged in Indic-language Wikimedia projects and the broader open knowledge movement across India and South Asia. The conference will take place in Kochi, Kerala, from 4–6 September 2026.

The Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) seeks candidates for the 2026 election. The U4C is the global committee responsible for overseeing enforcement of the Universal Code of Conduct. Elections are held annually, if elected a committee member serves for two years.

This year the U4C requires candidates to hold administrator rights on at least one wiki, which is why you are being contacted as you appear to hold this right. There are other requirements, such as candidates must be at least 18 years old and may not be employed by the Wikimedia Foundation or other related chapters and affiliates. You can find more information in the call for candidates on Meta-wiki. Additionally, the committee's working language is English; some ability to communicate in English is required.

The election opens on 18 May, if you are eligible and interested you have until 10 May to submit your candidacy. There will week between for candidates to answer questions from the community. Voting takes place privately in SecurePoll, successful candidates must receive at least 60% support. More information is available on the 2026 Elections page, including timelines and other candidacy information. If you read over the material and consider yourself qualified, please consider submitting your name to run for the committee.
