DISEASE, THEIR GENERAL SYMPTOMS AND
TREATMENTS,
1. AMURTAK BYADHI.
General Symptoms—The animal refuses food and is continually lying down and getting up again.
Medicines :—1. Give internally one seer of poppy seeds in three equal doses a day.
2. Give internally powdered long pepper and black pepper in equal quantities in milk.
3. Boil in cow's ghee rice, arum and long pepper in equal parts and apply the same in the urethra when cold. This will put an end to the disease.
General Symptoms— Eruptions like parched paddy at the end of the genital organ.
Medicines :—Squeeze cut juice of both kinds of Manimuni, boil the same in mustard oil and apply externally with a feather of the pigeon.
General Symptoms—Limping with the body bent.
Medicine:—Bandage the affected part with the paste made of 7 ripe leaves of Chorat, 7 leaves of Buch, Harghurrucha, and Naljora.

General Symptoms—Swelling like a polypus in the palate, for which the animal cannot eat.
Medicine :—Puncture and rub with common galt.
