Hitherto no one in Assamese Literature published such a Sonnet series: in Bengalee, Michael M. S. Dutta, Raby Thakoor (Sir Robindra) and Pramatha Chowdhury took the initiative in this, and I note with extreme pleasure that you have, as in other branches of our literature, taken the lead in this respect also"
