To specify a source, either use
- {{incomplete|source=http://....}}
- {{incomplete|oclc=<num>}} where number is the OCLC number
- {{incomplete|scan=yes}} where the work is supported by a image file of the work

Works with this template are placed into either Category:Incomplete texts or Category:Incomplete texts without a source depending on whether a source is provided.
