 In the end, on behalf of ourselves. the Head master of the school and his teaching staff we extend our sincerest thanks to the public of this town and the guardians of the boys for their kind co-operation and patronage in our effort which is expected in the long run to make a valuable contribution to the intellectual and artistic resources of the individual and society.

 Let us all realise that material happiness is not the Sum-um Bonam of life.

Our own NOTES and NEWS.

 Our school maintains an efficient staff guided by Mv. Md. Tayebulla, Hd. master and Sj. P. Sarma, Asst. Hd, master.

 We are glad to note that in the last Matriculation Examination Mr. Laru Gopal Goswami of our school was able to secure a competitive scholarship of Rs. 15/- attaining distinctions in Sanskrit and Assamese; Mr. Tilack Ch. Bora two had one distinction in Sanskrit. We wish them success.

Games and sports:- Our boys are always taking avtive parts in games and sports. They have joined in a number of competitions in the current session and have played their parts fully well.

 Scouts:- Our Scouts have rendered sufficient help for the relief of the distressed in the last flood in our district and subscribed hand-some amount towards the relief fund by collection.

 School Union Society - Office bearers:- Mr Debaprasad Nath, General Secy., Mr. Kiran Bara, Secy. Debating Society, Mr. Bhaben Saikia and Mr. Promod Das- Joint, Secys, Literary Society.

 At its different sittings our Society condoled the deaths of the famous literateurs late Gohain Borua and M. C. Bezborua, Editor “Banhi”. The deaths of late Bhulabhai Desai and of one Atul Ch. Barua of class IX were condoled too.

 Of the many sittings of the Debating Society two must draw attention subjects for debate being “Students should not take part in Politics”, “Wealth is not better than education”.

 A Drawing class on each Saturday has been started during this session— Mr. Prodip Dutta and Mr. Mohendra Saikia are taking keen interest in this.

 The present magazine is also the outcome of the rigorous efforts of the union Society.

 In the recent flood in our district our boys both scouts and non-scouts collected a fair sum for the relief of the sufferers. The D.C. Nowgong has thus sent a word of praise to our boys through Head master— “I appreciate the work of those students of your school who have collected a sum of Rs. 761/2/- (Seven hundred and sixty one Rupees two annas) towards the Nowgong flood Relief Committee. Please convey my hearty thanks to them”.
